Mrs. Siadra Sutherland is Certified Public Accountant, Financial Advisor, Minister, Poet, Writer, Wife and Mother. Of the many hats she wears, she is most proud of the fact that, above all, she is first and foremost, a Lover of God.
Mrs. Sutherland is a proud Alumna and Valedictorian of St. George’s High School’s class of 2004. Upon leaving high school, she continued on to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Voorhees College, where she also graduated as the Valedictorian of her class. Subsequently, Mrs. Sutherland obtained her Masters of Accountancy from Bowling Green State University. Upon her matriculation, she commenced her employment with a top four accounting firm, KPMG. She continued her studies and went on to become a Certified Public Accountant.
After working six years in the accounting firm, Mrs. Sutherland continued her career development at AML Foods Limited, where she currently serves as the Assistant Financial Controller for the Freeport Operations. Siadra, also uses her career skills to offer financial assistance to various small businesses on the Island of Grand Bahama.
Mrs. Sutherland is married to Mr. Tasman Sutherland, Teacher and Owner of Huge Impact Marketing Company. Together they have three sons, John, Joshua and Jayce Sutherland.
Siadra is a firm believer in Christ Jesus. In her spare time, she can be found serving in her local church and community. She attends A Call to Holiness Ministries, Agape House, where she functions both in the Youth department and Kingdom Business Ministry.
Mrs. Sutherland enjoys writing and reciting spoken word poetry, and has done so on various platforms both locally and internationally. She believes that God has gifted her to be a blessing to the world through the arts.
Her life is centered on the words of Alfred Tennyson, “More things are wrought by prayer, than this world dreams of.” Having overcome many odds, stigmas and setbacks, Mrs. Sutherland is proof that all things work together for good to them that Love God and are called according to his purpose.
